Here's a backup of my original and best known error-404.org.uk website. This website was up between 2000 and 2001 and became quite popular with pupils at Highland schools due to the fact it contained information and resources for bypassing Sentinel Software's "Ranger", which was used at the time to attempt to secure Windows 95 workstations.

My mates at Millburn Academy (which I ended up having to move to due to being banned off all computers in the IRA) told me that during a computing class where the teacher had a projector connected to his machine, he started to type a URL which had the letter e at the start. Sure enough, error-404.org.uk came up in the list of recent URLs!

In late 2000 I had to quickly rush home from school to remove the content related to the schools as the Highland Council were not exactly pleased by it. My mate Eric quickly did an IE save of it.

There is a scan of the letter here.

While they were not pleased, Sentinel however, liked it. They sent me these e-mails.

eror404_home.htm - The main/index page.
clarishome.htm - The C.L.A.R.I.S. main page.
download_info.htm - Part of the above, explaining a work around blocked file download types.
igear.htm - Page about bypassing i-gear (web blocker).
offline.htm - The "offline" CLARIS page.
guestbook1.htm - Guestbook at the time (it's still up here).

Please remember this was over four years ago now and I realise how lame and basic the site and the content is!

After that 404 site, there was this site, about the only remotely interesting thing on it was the microwave experiments.

Both these sites were constructed in Microsoft Publisher '98 then 2000, and have some of the worst HTML ever.
