Finally, LWL_4 has
just finished this morning (like early morning but that is besides
the point). James and I were probably the longest survivors
of that lan and I would just like to thank Ken for a great lan.
Some details and pics will be coming up shortly in the upcoming
lans section. Now, on to LWL_5; it will start tomorrow and
you all know when it is and where it is. Make sure that you
all check out the preparation section and bring as many games as
you can...actually, java has probably covered that area up
 . If
any problems or queries, go and contact peter, use msn if you
really want to speak to him *joke*.
By the way, I had
sent an email to this company who makes quality mouse mats and
stuff for sponsorships to add little incentives for our lans which
should be really good. However, they haven't replied to yet
but I still have faith. |

Right, after ages, I have finally
received some new information that has suggested that the LWLs are
back. LWL_4 will be held sometime like next Wednesday and
LWL_5 will be held sometime next Saturday. However, nothing
much has been confirmed but LWL_5 will be held at Pete's house
which should host 8 people...a new record for the LWL team. |

Well, last Sunday saw the finishing of
LWL_3: Ignite the Moose which I had to say went really well.
There was a good turnout and the atmosphere was really good.

Finally, LWL_3 has got the full ahead
following the confirmation of ichao and wiseguy. This is
great as now we have full seven people confirmed for the LAN which
is still going ahead on the 15-16 December 2001. Check out

Moose. |

Yes, that is right, pedro has finally
managed to confirm that he is coming to the LAN and so has
everyone else apart from wiseguy and if he can come, then we will
have our full team of 7 members. So, hopefully I will be
able to update everyone else on that tomorrow! |

Right, after a whole month or so, I
have finally managed to sit down and write up this notice. I
would like to inform you that LWL_3: Ignite the Moose will be
going ahead. I have already checked with smalik, krow, cgi-bin,
matt and they say that they are all coming. The date for the
event will be the 15-16th December 2001 so make sure that you guys
are off work. I am telling you guys this well in advance so
that you can get it sorted with your bosses and I know that a lot
of you guys work. I am still waiting for replies from
wiseguy and pistol. By the way, those are the final and
confirmed dates for the event, so I can't really change it...so if
work gets in the way, tough!! You will come to the LAN!
The LAN will be an over-nighter as
were the last two LANs so make sure you bring everything.
Further information will be given in the [upcoming lans] sections
soon! Watch this space. |

| Finally,
I managed to get the [upcoming lans] section updated with the
information about the next LAN which I am sure all of you know
already. It will like said, be at Iain's house so if you
don't know the way, well you will have to get in contact with me
or Iain for directions.
Some other information to be
hopeful to be about is that fact that we might have good PCs
this time round. Pedro could hopefully get his PC sorted
and cgi-bin has already upgraded his PC to 1Ghz AMD.
The slowest computer will be Krow's so will have to force him to
OC it to 600Mhz hopefully, hence, try and bring a fan if you
can. |

| Well,
this is the first post in a long time. Smalik (aka. Iain)
told me just the other day that LWL_2 will be going ahead at the
same place as last time...yes, his house. This will again
will be an all-nighter and will start on the first Thursday of
the October break. It will then finish on the following
day at around early evening. The details will be coming up
for the LAN in the [upcoming lans] section...so watch that
space!
A minor note, I am not to sure
what exactly happened to that report for LWL_1: Chase the flying
pedro. It might (hopefully) be given to me one day or we
might be waiting forever for it to be written up (*hint**hint*)! |
