I had quite a busy weekend, and all great fun. On Friday evening 7 cars worth went to Urquhart Castle, on Saturday we went to Nairn for a mini holiday and last night we went on the biggest detour of not being able to find Loch Duntelchaig ever. The original reason for the Urquhart Castle trip was so Bruce could go round the long way in his fantastic Honda Civic 1.6 Sport and race everyone going via the A82. He got there long before everyone else due to everyone else dithering in Inverness! I don't know what happened with the car arrangements that night but it was a bit of a shambles. In the end there were 6 of us cramed in Pete's Volvo S40, with Eilie sitting on Sarah who was hiding from police etc. It seems that basically everyone who ended up in the Volvo had been told by someone else during the course of the day that they'd be picked up by them, only to be told later the car was full. Turned out that there was a space in the car after all. Not to worry, we got there. There were a few others already there by the time we arrived, Bruce included. Having discovered the light switch for the path down we made our way (ran mostly) down to the castle and entered by running down and up the moat for some reason. Others were gathered at the top of the right hand part ...
