Click for albumAt the weekend I went to a work collegues house to get a D-lock removed from my bike. The lock had been stuck on my bike for a while (my keys got lost when I had a load of my stuff stolen from an Edinburgh flat) and was becoming both irritating, and a hazard. He didn't, as he'd hoped, manage to get hold of a grinder so we had to use alternative methods. He slowly grinded through the lock using something that's designed for carving/rounding stuff off. After a while of this when it had chewed through about 3/4 of the lock, he managed to use cutters to snap the last bit. These locks are very tough indeed, they do their job well - just don't get one stuck on your bike!

Head over to the project page for more information.
