I can't believe it's Friday again! The work night out last friday seems like yesterday! It was a good night although perhaps "interesting" is the choice of word for some (don't ask!). The new rollout of machines in the company we support has been put off for over a month now! This is both good and annoying. It's great for us and the project team as it gives us much more time to get some more of the bugs ironed out, documentation done and get the rest of the desk trained but the other side of it is that it's been dragging on somewhat now and a part of me just wants the damn thing to get going!After reading an article last year on THG about using a TFT panel on an overhead projector, I told myself I would HAVE to try it! Months on and I'm finally starting. I've so far aquired a TFT with a dead backlight from eBay for a whole £10. I stripped it down and to my delight it turned out to be more than suitable. My next task is to get hold of an OHP. There's plenty on eBay but the postage is understandably high. If I can find someone selling one locally it would be best. I will create a project page in the project section (surprise surprise) soon. For now you can take a look at the pictures I took during dismantling and inital testing in the gallery...
