Click for albumAt the weekend I attended ScotLAN #14, perhaps the last for a long time, perhaps ever. Matt, the fantastic organiser of these events is moving back down to England so can no longer run the event. While there's people like me with the technical knowledge of running a LAN, no one can offer such great organisation as Matt and offer all the great tournaments, raffles and create such a great atmosphere etc. I decided to miss out Multiplay i23 for ScotLAN #14. I'm glad I did, I had not been to one since ScotLAN #7 and I promised I'd make number 14, as it could be the last.

I took the Friday off work and packed my stuff up and headed off to Aberdeen on the train in the afternoon, complete with sky dish. I luckily didn't have to take my PC this time, just my TFT, as F_Sake kindly provided a P4 system for me to use. I arrived in Aberdeen at 17:36, with a lot of time to kill. I jumped in a taxi and headed off to a mate's house. Eventually LAN time came along and we headed off to the hall where a number of people had already arrived waiting for the network to be set up. I helped Matt out a bit and waited for F_Sake to arrive with my PC. Later that evening I tried the dish out - it worked! It was great to meet up with the old ScotLAN folk again, ...
