Currently sitting in training (waiting for it to resume), finding things alright, pretty straightforward. It seems the training will be dragging on into next week apparently, but within 2 weeks we will be on the phones, which I'm kinda looking forward to! Not long back from first day at a certain outsourcing company down the Longman. Was alright actually, people seem pretty relaxed and helpful and there's free coffee/tea all round the building. Was induction today, getting to know other people, filling in and signing things and briefly shown tools etc we'll be using. Later in the day we also got to sit with people on the desks. I was with a guy who seemed pretty sound. He also came up with a very good point - Inverness sucks for after-club munchies! You have the 24 hour Tesco at the retail park and that's about it. Rest of this week is training etc which should be interesting. I think I'm going to enjoy working there actually! It seems Inverness has improved night life wise (obviously not as good as what I've been used to in Edinburgh etc though!)... There's new places such as Barbazzas and Osbournes which have appeared while I've been in Edinburgh and London this past year. Strangely even cheesy G's was alright!
