Right, where to start! Not updated this for ages and a lot has been going on. Before I get started on the obvious stated in the subject, I'll update past goings on. I mentioned I was aiming to get an amateur radio licence, well, I passed the foundation exam (which isn't really hard)and have sent off for my licence! I'm now in the process of getting some equipment to at least get me on 2 metres for now. I'm still with Craig, things seem to be going great. I dug out my IR camera again and have taken some more pictures, which you can see in the gallery.Back to the point. I'm currently in Rotherham on a company paid for trip to get an insight into the goings on down here and hopefully get some new information, get questions answered and just generally try to get involved with the project. At the moment though, them meeting the current set rollout date seems very unlikely. I came down here with 3 polish guys who are currently over in Inverness. We flew from Inverness to Birmingham on a small plane and hired a car and drove to Rotherham. I can't drive the hired car though as I'm under 23! I'm sitting in the Carlton Park Hotel in Rotherham on crappy dialup. This hotel is alright just doesn't have anything in the way of Internet technology so I've had to get myself a temp freephone dialup account to use for ...
