Off work today as I have a crappy sore throat and generally feel shit. On Friday night I was out on an organised piss-up, we all got very drunk indeed.. probably what caused me to catch this thing! We went around a couple of places before heading to Bakoo, where we had the VIP area reserved. I learned one thing - Wetherspoons sucks in the evening (the Inverness one anyway). It's very depressing, brightly lit, no music.. just a huge long bar and people drinking, no atmosphere at all. Wetherspoons does do great food at a decent price though, but as a pub it's crap. Bakoo was crazy.. I mainly stuck to JD and coke as I always do, but had a number of apple sourz and sambuca shots thrown in. I don't think many of us can remember much past 2! Last week I finally got round to removing a year old Fedora installation from my general purpose server box and replace it with FreeBSD. I had been tempted by FreeBSD for some time, just not got round to making the switch. I'm glad I did, FreeBSD is great! I now have two FreeBSD based boxes as I also use m0n0wall.
