Back in Worcestershire - robert, 18/08/2005, 17:28
It was almost exctly a year ago when I was last down in the Kidderminster area staying in Stourport-on-Severn, and I'm back again! This is the first week off I've had since I started work and boy have I needed it. This week has been great so far, just been relaxing mainly. Yesterday we went paintballing which was great fun, although painful at first and rather expensive - not to mention the muscle aches I have now!. On Monday we went for a walk up Titterstone Clee Hill in Shropshire. From there I made contact with someone in Gloucestershire but didn't try for a contact any further away. It didn't help 2 metres was being blasted by a mast up the hill. There's the local Kidderminster repeater, GB3KD, which I've been listening to and like the one in Rotherham (I went yet again a couple of weeks ago), it's linked to the Internet which makes it interesting. Seeing as I'm not really in a postng mood, I'll leave it here for now and post more later...
